Chimani App and Perks

Looking for an app to navigate all 60 national parks and get discounts at restaurants, hotels and shops surrounding the parks?

In early 2018, Chimani Inc., the leading mobile app for national park visitors with over 3 million downloads, launched additional benefits as part of the popular Chimani Perks subscription. The subscription now includes access to detailed national park guides for all 59 national parks and GPS-enabled offline maps - in addition to the over $2,500 in national park-related discounts that were previously available. The subscription is available for $29 annually and can be purchased at https://www.chimani.co/perks?rfsn=2174151.168899.

Chimani’s award-winning national park guides include all the essentials for any national park visit. A pre-trip planning tool, complete information all necessary fees and reservations, a complete list of available activities including all hikes that include skill-level, distance and time estimates. Each guide even includes the location of every restroom in the park - a must have during the busy summer months.

The Chimani Perks subscription also includes the ability to download detailed, offline maps which are GPS-enabled. The Chimani maps include the lasted trails and road data, elevation details and the location of every point of interest in the park. But most importantly, they work completely offline when there is no cell phone signal.

Chimani’s popular Pokémon Go-like feature is also expanded with each subscription. One of the most used features - users are able to collect digital badges, earn “experience points” and unlock digital arrowhead on the map by checking into points of interests throughout the park. With the Chimani Perks subscription, thousands of new points of interest are now available to visit and earn digital badges.

Already included in the subscription - the only discount savings club just for national parks. It includes over $2,500 in discounts on lodging, dining, tours, activities, retail shops, and gear throughout the national park system. In addition to discounts on food and lodging, there are discounts on activities such as kayak tours, schooner trips, scooter rentals, camping, photography workshops, scenic flights, and even dude ranches.

The Chimani Perks subscription is available for $29 annually. It is currently available on iOS (Android will be available this spring). To learn more or join, go to https://www.chimani.co/perks?rfsn=2174151.168899.
