This beautiful resort on the shores of Lake Quinault is on the fancy side, with a stylish lobby featuring a large fireplace and fine dining, but lodging options include both rooms in the 1920s-era main lodge and more rustic rooms in several outbuildings, including the Boathouse and Lakeside buildings. There are 91 rooms total, plus one suite.

If the weather is good, take a break from hiking by sunbathing by the lakeside beach or relax by the heated swimming pool. Afterwards, dine at the lodge’s restaurant. Most tables have great views of the lake.

Located in the towering rainforest on the park’s south side, Lake Quinault Lodge sits very close to several national champion trees and trails leading into the Quinault Valley. Amenities include a heated pool, sauna and game room. It’s open year-round and sits right on the park border near the Quinault Indian Reservation.
